Since 1 July 2006, the intelligent freeware tool and successor to the previous software Travel it Easy is pre-installed on all SWISSMEMORY USB storage devices. With Travel & Work, the administration and synchronization of files and e-mail programs is child´s play - and working becomes an independent pleasure.

Travel & Work provides the USB storage user with numerous useful functions without needing administrator rights for the PC in use. A 256bit-encryption as well as the trusted password protection, ensures the safety of the data on the USB stick. Data can be saved with or without a password, according to the user´s preference. A function, which prevents unauthorised access to personal data, particularly, by loss of the storage medium. The Lost & Found function, on the contrary, remains unprotected as it contains information about the owner in the form of a TXT-File.

Using the My Documents synchronisation, the user can transfer data easily from the My Documents PC folder to his USB stick. Even Outlook and Outlook Express can also be synchronized. To do this, a backup copy of personal data, such as e-mails and contacts, is saved on the SWISSMEMORY storage and can be accessed from any computer.

Thanks to Travel & Work Internet favourites can also be stored to the USB stick and can be synchronized with the connected PC. This brings benefits, above all, for users who frequently switch between several PCs, such as home and office PC.

Travel & Work is compatible with Windows from 98SE, 2000 as well as XP. At the moment, it offers a choice of languages covering German, English, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese; further languages will follow in autumn 2006.
